I’m Gwen Houston, a licensed insurance agent with Weedin Agency. My journey to this career was anything but traditional—I’ve lived in Texas, Japan, Iowa, California, and finally settled in beautiful Colorado. Along the way, I gained a wide range of experiences, from being a medical assistant to a stay-at-home mom, before entering the insurance industry in 2011. I initially interviewed for a customer service position and was hired on the spot, which led me to discover my passion for insurance. I earned my license in 2012 and have since gained extensive experience in both personal and commercial lines, mostly with captive companies. Now, I’m excited to expand my expertise by working with an insurance broker.

I love working with people and find it rewarding to tackle new challenges and learn something new each day. Outside of work, I cherish time with my family and friends, whether we’re enjoying the outdoors, having movie nights at home, or diving into a good book. Music and reading are two of my favorite pastimes, and I’m also working on expanding my involvement in volunteer work to give back to my community.
